FIVEC is a young foundation established in 2006 with the aim of promoting innovation and technology projects and strengthening the economic development of certain technological sectors so as to make Valencia internationally competitive thanks to its scientific, technological and entrepreneurial skills. For the INTERBIO project, FIVEC will be supported by key players in the health, technologies and sciences sector. Valencia boasts a scientific cluster comprising universities, technological institutes and research centres. This is the Principe Philippe research centre, which will be the main player mobilised as part of the project.
FIVEC will also by supported by the VIT cluster, which brings together scientists from universities and research centres, the hospital sector and industrialists for the promotion and transfer of technology and applied know-how in the health sector.
