Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position immediately available, for 18 months
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position (18 months) in the Inserm Unit RNA: Natural and Artificial Regulation. The successful applicant will work in the team Small RNA and Aptamers, headed by Jean-Jacques Toulmé.
The project is focused on the development of sensors through the use of in vitro selected oligonucleotides (aptamers) with a special focus on the design of a SELEX procedure adapted to small molecules in solution. The process will rest upon conventional molecular biology; analysis will be carried out by molecular biophysics methods. The applicant will work in a stimulatory multidisciplinary environment at the Institut Européen de Chimie et Biologie (IECB).
A good background in molecular biology is prefered. Additional expertise in spectroscopy and/or nucleic acid chemistry is welcome. Knowledge of French is not mandatory.
Candidates should send a brief statement of past research accomplishments, CV, publication list and names of three referees to J.-J. Toulmé (jean-jacques.toulme@inserm.fr)
