A position for a post-Doctoral contract in Molecular Modelling is available at IECB (Bordeaux, France). This position arises in the frame of an industrial collaboration project with a big Pharma and will start as soon as possible for one year. The expected salary is, at least, 2200 €/month neat income but liable to french taxes. The objectives of the project are to exploit aromatic amide foldamers to disrupt protein-protein interaction with an aim in anti-cancer therapy. The project includes also the development of synthetic methods to obtain the required foldamers, strategies to target those to protein surfaces as well as the assessment of the relevant properties of the new molecules. The candidate must have a good expertise in molecular mechanics and molecular dynamics. A special and important point: he (she) must have an experience in force-field parametrization.
