Progress and challenges in Cystic Fibrosis Newborn Screening: Perspectives from USA, Europe and Spai |

This unique and timely symposium has been organized to review the current worldwide status of newborn screening for cystic fibrosis, to analyze critically how we reached this stage in which approximately 8 million babies are being screened, and to examine potential options for quality improvement in screening practices and delivery of care for infants. The experiences and issues in Spain will be given special attention in the context of other European programmes.
